38 Weeks: Bring on the Labor

I'm only in my 38th week, and growing more and more impatient everyday. I know that the baby will come when it's ready and I don't want to rush the baby's delivery, but I'm just so excited to see my little girl! I want the labor pains to come and everything. As much as possible, I would prefer to have a normal delivery. Having a C-section is really scary for me, maybe because I have no control over it, and I would not feel my baby coming out. I know that it will be very very very very painful, but I would really prefer a normal delivery.

I had my check up last Saturday, and the doctor said that despite taking eveprim, my cervix was still not dilated. Now my doctor is making me take buscopan to thin out my cervix. I'm also walking around a lot now and still going to work. Hopefully, these measures will help bring on the labor.
